A support player in PARIVISION, Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy was given star opener roles in TDK and 1win and he is repaying their faith after top-fragging against G2 at Pro League.
The 22-year-old finished Mirage with a 2.09 rating, and the series with 52 frags. It was a show of firepower we rarely saw in a PARIVISION team that struggled under the weight of expectation placed upon them by their win at BLAST Bounty.

G2 facing elimination in EPL after 1win loss
It’s not just the roles; BELCHONOKK also pointed to the “much more comfortable” personalities of Konstantin “groove” Pikiner and Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov, having played for years under Dzhami “Jame” Ali and Dastan “dastan” Akbayev’s more disciplinarian style.
The team are still far away — BELCHONOKK says it will take at least a year to fully merge the way the different players see the game — but a win over G2 this early is proof they are heading in the right direction.
Listen to the interview here.
Okay. Congratulations, that was a really good third map from you. How does it feel?
Thank you. I’m very glad that we can come back after this very bad entrance, I would say, horrible, horrible entrance.
And being a team like G2, I think it shows some of the firepower you have, but you can always show it in PARIVISION with different roles and everything. Are you feeling much more comfortable now?
Yeah, I feel much more comfortable now because, first of all, I play different roles, and second one, in PARIVISION we had very high expectation, I would say, obviously after the Blast Bounty win. It was a lot of pressure. Here, we are a new team. I’m just playing new roles. We’re all trying to learn. It’s much more comfortable.
fame understands me more than others in the team
Tell me what it’s like to work with nafany and groove as a very different style tactically to fame and stavn. What’s been the difference?
It’s very, very different. It’s hard to explain in English, and also I don’t want to show some secrets, I would say, like this. But I would say the personalities, they are more comfortable for me, but it’s, how to say it, they are more comfortable. But in the game terms, I have more connection with Jame and dastan.
Okay, that’s interesting. So what is it about the personalities? Are they just a bit warmer maybe?
Yeah, something like this. They are just friendly guys, so.

BELCHONOKK is enjoying the atmosphere in 1win
Okay. And I just wanted to ask about playing with fame and everyone like that. Do you have that VP connection from playing with fame? Can you feel it in the server that you’ve both been trained up by the same people?
Yeah, of course. We have a lot of jokes with fame about Jame and dastan and all the structure, and he understands me very well. My things about the game, how I see the game, he understands me more than others in the team.
We are so different. nafany and groove, it’s Gambit. Me and fame, it’s Virtus.Pro. ArtFr0st, it’s third one.
And what do you think the ceiling is for this lineup? Because it’s one of those things, there were so many good free agents available at the same time, and it feels like you’ve really come together and it makes a lot of sense as a roster. Where do you think you could end up? Just how good can this team be?
Honestly, I don’t know. It will be about how we’re going to improve as a team, how we’re going to manage bad periods, how we’re going to create one view of game, I would say, because we are so different of view, you know. nafany and groove, it’s Gambit. Me and fame, it’s Virtus.Pro, Jame, dastan. ArtFr0st, it’s third one. So it’s a lot of discussion about the game. So first of all, we need to create something one.
How close are you to having a new style that’s a mix of everything?
I think we are far from this. We need maybe one year. Maybe one year. It’s hard. It’s hard in CS, if you are talking about high tier, it’s hard.
So you cannot just play a few months and instantly understand every situation like one brain, you know. You have one situation and you have always one reaction as a team, but it’s million situations, and you need to hard work so long to improve your team IQ, I would say like this.
