Arc Raider’s newest DLC has finally released, and it’s introducing a ton of content for players to sink their teeth into. Dubbed the “Frozen Trail,” this expansion adds the Pendola Pass map, new ARC enemies, quests, loot, weapons, and events.
Of course, one of the biggest draws is hunting down all the new materials you’ll use for crafting and upgrading your base. One of these is the Mini Pump, which, despite being an Uncommon item, can be a headache to find if you don’t know where to look. So if you need these to create your Research Station, here is where to find them.
Where To Find Mini Pumps
When it comes to finding Mini Pumps, you will want to stick to Technological and Electrical-focused points of interest. While many might think the best place to find them is on the new Pendola Pass map, this is actually not the case. A few of the older maps are ideal for hunting down this material, and you can easily find all three you need in a single run.
If you’re looking for Mini Pumps, I recommend checking out these locations first:
- Port Authority Building and Custom House on Riven Tides
- Arrival Building on Spaceport
- Pilgrim’s Peak on The Blue Gate
Of these locations, Riven Tides is definitely the best and most consistent map to find Mini Pumps. Specifically, I have had the best luck at Custom House, as the buildings surrounding the extraction point always seem to have this material lying around. I would avoid the main towers you can climb, as you want to focus on searching either through containers, the red lockers, or just looking for them on control consoles in the smaller side structures.
Alternatively, the Port Authority Building is another amazing spot for finding Mini Pumps. Similar to Custom House, stick to searching containers such as white drawers, toolboxes, and desks. I’ve had quite a bit of luck with this point of interest if you can get here early before other Raiders have ransacked it. In my run, I managed to get all three pumps I needed for my Research Station in a single run but just scavenging the Port Authority Building.
For those who don’t want to skulk around Riven Tide, both Spaceport and The Blue Gate also have some great spots to check out for Mini Pumps. If you find yourself on Spaceport, stick to either the Arrival Building or Launch Tower. The former is great due to the sheer size of the main building, as it’s broken up across several floors, and you can easily find Mini-Pumps in and around the various desks.
The Launch Tower is another good option on Spaceport since you can usually find a few Mini-Pumps both in the lockers and on the various control consoles in either tower. Similar to Port Authority Building, this area is a pretty popular location, so unless you can get here early there’s a good chance it’ll already be looted.
Finally, Pilgrim’s Peak on The Blue Gate is another fantastic option for finding Mini Pumps. It fits both the Electrical and Technological theming for this item and has a comical amount of lootable containers. That being said, this area does lean heavier towards breechable servers which do not spawn Mini Pumps. Because of this, when you arrive here, I recommend prioritizing any normal lootable container first. These will have the best chance of dropping Mini Pumps, while saving you the headache of having to rip open all the breechable boxes around this area.
Remember, the Mini Pump cannot be crafted, bought, or obtained via recycling other materials. If you want the Mini Pump, you’ll need to do a bit of legwork and hunt them down while exploring the different maps.
