UFC heavyweight legend Cain Velasquez has given his thoughts on potentially fighting again at some point in the future.

As we know, Cain Velasquez is regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights to ever compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a multiple-time world champion, and he has picked up some huge wins throughout the course of his illustrious career.

While he has certainly had some issues to deal with outside of the cage, Velasquez is still viewed as a legend in the sport, and many have often wondered what would happen if he decided to fight at least one more time.

In a recent interview, Velasquez gave an interesting answer when discussing the possibility of another walk to the cage.

Velasquez opens up on his fighting future

“The money has to make me want to do it because, I’ve said this before, I don’t want to do it,” Velasquez said on the “Weighing In” podcast with Josh Thomson. “I have other interests now. But the money really has to make me want to do it, and I don’t think anybody is willing to pay that.”

“I mean, I can always (fight again), but to what degree is something different, as well,” said Velasquez, who laughed off the idea of an opponent wish list. “Of course, we could always do it. But to what degree are you doing it at?”

“In that way, I don’t. It doesn’t interest me anymore,” Velasquez said. “I get so into what I’m doing that, whatever you want to call it, it doesn’t do it for me anymore.”
