The second day of Stage 2 at IEM Cologne Major has concluded with Spirit and FUT going 3-0 to reach Stage 3, while FlyQuest and GamerLegion had their runs come to an end.
The third day will see three more teams advance and three others eliminated, with the 2-1 pool headlined by a match between G2 and BIG. 9z will look to recover from a battering by Spirit and qualify on their second attempt against TYLOO, while Monte’s surprise run past BIG and Legacy has earned them a chance to advance against BetBoom.
That result has also left CAC champions Legacy staring down elimination early, and they’ll hope to salvage their campaign against M80 to end the day. Two other Brazilian teams are also fighting for their tournament lives, with MIBR facing B8 and Astralis up against paiN.
