Kwik Trip has launched a new Mountain Dew-flavored donut, bringing one of America’s most recognizable soda flavors to the bakery aisle for a limited time.
The convenience store chain recently introduced Mountain Dew Dunker Donuts through its Kwikery Bake Shop line, with the treats arriving in six-count boxes at participating locations.
The bright green-glazed donuts first surfaced online after snack account CandyHunting shared photos of the new item, describing them as capturing the flavor of Mountain Dew with citrus notes, including lemon, lime, and orange.
“The donuts actually do a pretty good job capturing the flavor of Mountain Dew,” they said.

Kwik Trip teased the launch on Instagram with a video featuring employees sampling a mystery Dunker donut flavor. The company kept the flavor hidden throughout the clip, only telling viewers it was not pink lemonade.
The teaser encouraged customers to guess the flavor in the comments, but it wasn’t long until customers started to find the new donuts in store.
The launch adds another unexpected product to the growing list of soda-inspired food items, as brands continue experimenting with familiar beverage flavors in snacks, desserts, and baked goods.
Earlier this year, Taco Bell teamed up with the soft drink brand for a limited-edition promotion that gave fans a chance to score Mountain Dew Baja Blast-themed eye patches, one of several unusual collectibles released as part of the chain’s ongoing partnership with the beverage giant.
