After a long delay, the final Universal Festival update has arrived in Universal Tower Defense X. The new update has brought a range of units, events, bundles, and quality-of-life improvements, making the tower defense experience more polished. Most of the content is for veteran players since it includes a new Tear and a World Raid.

Universal Festival Finale: Awakening of the Beast update
Beast Universal Tear
“Beast Universal Tear has been added to the Tear rotation. On Wave 5, choose between three different buff cards. On Wave 20, fight Rohan in four different phases. Clear this stage for a chance to obtain the new Rohan (Mystic) unit.
- Phase 1, Base Rohan: Upon defeating the 1st phase boss, you will be able to choose between three buff cards.
- Phase 2, Super Saiyan Rohan: This boss has a movement buff. When defeated, you will be able to choose again between three buff cards.
- Phase 3, Mystic Rohan: This boss is even faster than Super Saiyan Rohan. Once defeated, the boss enters the final phase.
- Phase 4, Blanco Beast: Rohan reaches maximum velocity. This phase has an optional clash between the boss and the player. If the player wins, they get buffs, but losing grants them several debuffs.
Maximum Bio-World Android Raid
A total of 12 players can enter this World Raid and challenge Bio-Android Maximum. This stage drops the Maximum Bio-Android unit and its evolution items.
In the new World Raid, the Bio-Android Maximum will emerge after 10 waves. Deplete hits Elemental Shields by attacking them with elemental advantage units. With every shield that gets destroyed, the Bio-Android swaps its element and sells your units. 90% of the Yen you spent on a unit will be refunded before the characters are sold.
The Elemental Shields of the Bio-Android are in the following order: Fire Element → Water Element → Wind Element → Rose Element
For every two Shields broken, the boss will prevent a random player from interacting with their units. You won’t be able to upgrade or sell them.
Additionally, after the Bio-Android Maximum World Raid boss has spawned, you’ll be able to start collecting Dragon Spheres. Once all seven have been collected, you’ll be given an “All Out Attack” option. At least half of the current lobby needs to use it so that it can activate.
After successful use of this “All Out Attack” option, you will be able to instantly destroy one of the Elemental Shields of the boss. If all elemental shields have been broken, the attack takes a large percentage of the total combined damage and inflicts it on the boss.
Once all the Elemental Shields have been broken, the Bio-Android Maximum will prepare its ultimate attack. All players will have 60 seconds to make sure their units are ready. Once the timer is up, you’ll have 15 seconds to do enough damage to the boss to stop its attack.
If you succeed, you will stabilize the boss’s ability and stop its attacks, allowing all players to keep fighting it. If you lose, the boss will unleash an Energy Bomb that destroys the map. There will still be a chance for a comeback and win.

Two new Boundless units
- Blanco Beast – Obtained by evolving Rohan (Mystic)
- Perfect Bio-Android Maximum – Obtained by evolving Bio-Android (Imperfect)
Two new Secret units
- Maximum Bio-Android (Disaster) – Obtained from Bio-Android World Raid
- Rohan (Mystic) – Obtained from Beast Universal Tear
Two new Exclusive units
- Funeral Parlor (Fragrance) – Obtained from Flames and Waves Event
- Wavechaser (Surfer) – Obtained from Flames and Waves Event
QoL changes
There have been multiple QoL improvements:
- Stage Challenges: Each Stage now has its own unique challenges associated with it, allowing you more ways to get rerolls and other rewards while passively playing the game.
- End Screen Visual Refresh: The Mission Results screen has more details now.
- Disable Placement Cutscene: Only Blanco Beast has this cutscene at the moment.
- Elemental Shield Mechanic: Elemental Shields are a new type of HP bar that can only be broken by using effective elements against them.
Events
Two brand-new events have arrived with the update:
- Flames and Waves Event: Complete different Daily and Weekly event quests for Wave Coins. Spend these coins in the Event Shop for the new Capsules to get different items and the Exclusive units – Funeral Parlor (Fragrance) and Wavechaser (Surfer).
- Battle of the Strongest World Raid Quests: Deal damage and evolve new units to get the new Beast Coins. Use these coins to buy different resources.
Mounts and emotes
The following mounts and emotes have been added:
- Maximum Bio-Android mount and Reclassed emote– Obtained from Maximum Power Bundle
- Super Car mount and Excuse me sir emote – Obtained from Beast Bundle
- Flame Ghost mount – Obtained from Flames and Waves Capsules
- Surfing Shark mount – Obtained from Flames and Waves Capsules
New codes
Here are all the new Universal Tower Defense X codes:
