Katie Boulter got her grass swing off to a fantastic start at the Queen’s Club Championships.

The British home hope made the semifinals of the WTA 500 event and earned the biggest win of her career en route.

Boulter defeated first seed Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinals, overcoming the former Wimbledon champion in three sets.

With her campaign in London, Boulter has seen a big increase in her WTA ranking.

Katie Boulter’s new WTA ranking after semifinal run at Queen’s

Boulter was ranked 73rd in the world prior to entering Queen’s, but she will now move up 17 spots to 56th.

The 29-year-old has recorded an up-and-down season so far, during which she has managed to capture her fourth WTA title.

She picked that crown up at the Ostrava Open, but since then, Boulter has struggled to make deep runs at tournaments.

What has been the best WTA match of 2026?

Let us know in the comments!

At Grand Slams in 2026, Boulter has just one win, which she picked up at the French Open over American teenager Akasha Urhobo.

Boulter achieved a career-high ranking of 23rd in the world back in 2024, having won titles in both Nottingham and San Diego that year.

Katie Boulter’s next match on the WTA Tour

Boulter will play another tune-up tournament before Wimbledon in Nottingham, where she will face compatriot Harriet Dart in the opening round.

The two have faced off on the WTA Tour eight times, with Boulter leading the head-to-head 6-2.

Their most recent clash went the way of Dart, however, who came back from a set down to beat Boulter at the 2024 Wimbledon championships.

Boulter will look to continue her momentum heading into Wimbledon, where she has enjoyed her joint-best Grand Slam finish.

She made the third round at Wimbledon in both 2022 and 2023.
