Just don’t expect Saint Denis, who averages roughly four takedowns per 15 minutes of action, to be shooting on Pimblett at UFC 329.
“BSD’s biggest threat is his left body kick or wherever he throws it, his left kick and his backhand,” Pimblett told TNT Sports. “He’s got power and he throws everything with intent. He does try and take everyone down, but I can’t see him trying to take me down because he knows I’ll submit him.”
“I think he’s a very good fighter,” Pimblett added. “I respect BSD. I think he’s very intense. He comes forward and tries to finish fights. He’s never won past the second round, but he’s not going to get past the second round with me, I think. I’ve got cleaner striking than him. I’m a better grappler and I’ve got better cardio. I don’t see where he can beat me, to be honest.”
