The semi-finals of Digital Crusade Super DraculaN Season 1 have drawn to a close, with Acend and Inner Circle emerging victorious from their hard-fought matches to secure their spots in the best-of-five grand final.
Inner Circle booked their place in the grand final after taking down Brazilian side Sharks in their semi-final game, notching back-to-back map wins to clinch the series after faltering on the first map of Mirage. Meanwhile, Acend snagged their grand final berth after overcoming Echo, similarly recovering from an opening loss on Mirage before taking the series 2-1.
Though Acend and Inner Circle were both in the same group during the group stage, they managed to make the playoffs without facing one another. The last time the two sides clashed was at BC Game Masters Championship Season 2, where Inner Circle eliminated Acend from the Portuguese LAN.
Before the best-of-five final between Acend and Inner Circle takes place, Sharks and Echo will play one more match, going head to head in the Romanian LAN’s third-place decider series.
