The 2026 Genesis Scottish Open begins this week at the Renaissance Club in Scotland. How to watch Genesis Scottish Open
This week golf fans will be treated to something of a preview of next week’s Open Championship. The biggest names from the PGA Tour , DP World Tour and even some from LIV Golf are facing off this week. But instead of England’s Royal Birkdale and the Open Championship, they’ll be battling at Scotland’s Renaissance Club for the Scottish Open title.
That includes Rory McIlroy, who won the Scottish Open in 2023 and finished T2 last season. McIlroy, the World No. 2, has won a major this year (at the Masters). Scottie Scheffler, the World No. 1, has not. However, Scheffler will be the defending Open champion next week, and this week should provide a proper tune-up before he hunts for his fifth major win.
As for LIV Golf, the man who has won the last two LIV individual season titles is in the field: Jon Rahm. This will be a rare chance for Rahm to add a PGA Tour win while still playing for LIV.
CBS and Golf Channel will provide TV coverage of the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer streaming coverage and featured group coverage all week long. Paramount+ will air simulcasts of CBS’s coverage.
