Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is gearing up for his third season with the Arizona Cardinals. On Thursday, a photo of him from their recent training session in South Florida with quarterback Jacoby Brissett made the rounds on the internet.
In the photo, we see Harrison showing off his toned physique. The wide receiver looked like he had spent a considerable amount of time in the weight room improving his strength.

However, fans on social media were not too impressed with this transformation and mocked the Cardinals player.

“It’s crazy he’s a bust so far. To the eye the dude looks like a hall of famer lol. Let’s hope he changes the narrative in year 3,” one fna commented.

“Totally insane athlete who does nothing during the game,” a fan wrote.
“It’s not happening for him. I’d love to be wrong though. Dude was supposeed to be NFL ready with routes and pedigree. He’s awful at separating and there’s no evidence of improvement. Bulking up didn’t work last year. No reason to think it will this year,” another fan said.

The Cardinals drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 pick in 2024. During his rookie campaign, he recorded 885 yards on 62 receptions and eight touchdowns. They finished third in the NFC West, failing to make the playoffs with an 8-9 record.
Last season, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s performance saw a decline. He played just 12 games due to injuries and recorded 608 yards with 31 receptions and just four touchdowns. The Cardinals once again failed to make the playoffs, finishing dead last in the NFC West with a 3-14 record.In January, coach Jonathan Gannon was fired after three seasons and Mike LaFleur was brought in as his replacement.

Sam Monson shares his thoughts on Marvin Harrison Jr.’s two-year stint with the Cardinals
On Thursday’s episode of the “Check the Mic” podcast, analyst Sam Monson shared his thoughts on Marvin Harrison Jr.’s performance so far in the NFL.
He stated that the wide receiver has not yet proved his worth and still has a long way to go to prove himself as a first-round draft pick.
“He’s not been that player yet,” Monson said. “He hasn’t looked particularly fast, dynamic. He has this awkward relationship with Kyler Murray. … He’s not been bad, but he hasn’t looked like the player that goes No. 4 overall, is the best wide receiver in his draft class. At this point, he doesn’t even look like he has that ceiling in him.”
The Cardinals kick off the 2026 season with a Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 13.
