At 39 years of age, Novak Djokovic is still going strong on the ATP Tour.

The Serb has played just five tournaments this season, but has enjoyed deep runs at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

Djokovic made the final at Melbourne Park earlier this year, dethroning defending champion Jannik Sinner before falling to Carlos Alcaraz.

Who has more Wimbledon titles by 2036 between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz?

They have 2 each right now…

At Wimbledon recently, Sinner earned revenge against the 24-time Grand Slam champion, beating him in straight sets en route to a second consecutive title in SW19.

Despite being in the twilight of his legendary career, Djokovic is still clearly one of the best players on the planet, and his former coach Goran Ivanisevic thinks he is far from finished.

Goran Ivanisevic predicts how much longer Novak Djokovic will play

In an interview with Croatian outlet Jutarnji, Ivanisevic was asked how much longer he thinks Djokovic will play on the ATP Tour.

He responded: “He says he’ll play until the Los Angeles Games, and we’re talking about two years.

“Honestly, knowing him, he’s able to push through with the schedule he’s playing in, with a head that’s incredible, special.

Who is your pick to win the US Open men’s singles title?

“It’s possible. After all, he’s still right behind Sinner, Alcaraz and Zverev, or, we could say, those four are above everyone else, so why not?”

Djokovic is currently ranked seventh in the ATP rankings, having been as high as third in the world this season.

Goran Ivanisevic gives update on his partnership with Arthur Fils

Ivanisevic is currently the coach of 22-year-old Frenchman Arthur Fils, who is the world number 23 at the moment.

“I’m super happy, he’s exactly the type of player I wanted to work with,” said Ivanisevic when discussing the young star.

“He’s young, he’s one of the biggest talents, someone whose game is enjoyable, he’s attractive, he’s powerful.

“It’s a shame that at the moment when he was in shape, he had problems with injuries. We found the right people to solve it.

“He played Wimbledon, it could have been better, but it was great that he played at all. I think he’s capable of getting into the Top 10 by the end of the year, and he’s definitely a Top 5 player. Just keep him healthy.”

Fils was knocked out in the second round of Wimbledon by Matteo Berrettini.
