Joey Logano’s race-winning gloves from the NASCAR Cup Series race at North Wilkesboro earned the highest bid in Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s annual “Driven to Give” charity auction. The bidding concluded on July 20 and featured race-worn skeleton gloves signed by both the participating drivers and Earnhardt, with all proceeds going to the Dale and Amy Earnhardt Fund at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Logano’s gloves topped the auction after selling for $7,361.54, following his dominant victory in the Window World 450. NASCAR journalist Joseph Srigley shared the final figures on X, revealing that the auction had raised $67,164.10 for the Dale and Amy Earnhardt Fund:

Several other high-profile drivers also attracted significant bids. Chase Elliott’s gloves sold for $6,300, while Kyle Larson’s pair reached $4,784.90. Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s own signed gloves brought in $4,725, followed by Ryan Blaney at $4,398.98, Denny Hamlin at $3,255, and Shane van Gisbergen at $3,150.
Carson Hocevar, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace and nine others also crossed the four-figure mark during the fundraiser. There were a total of 36 sets of gloves on offer, among other things, including the Dirty Mo Media office ticker.
The annual Driven to Give Gloves Program has become one of the Dale Jr. Foundation’s signature fundraising initiatives. Every participating driver wore Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s iconic skeleton-style gloves during the North Wilkesboro race before signing them alongside the two-time Daytona 500 winner. The proceeds support the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, helping patients and their families through pediatric injury rehabilitation, research and prevention.
Since its launch in 2017, the program has raised more than $2 million for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Through the Dale Jr. Foundation, Earnhardt and his wife Amy have supported hundreds of charitable organizations, with a particular focus on improving opportunities and care for children and families.
Joey Logano turned race-winning pace into charity’s biggest auction item
Joey Logano’s gloves carried extra value after coming from one of the most dominant performances of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Driving the No. 22 Team Penske Ford, the three-time Cup Series champion led a career-best 323 of 450 laps at North Wilkesboro before beating Denny Hamlin by 0.859 seconds to secure his first victory since Texas Motor Speedway in May 2025.
After struggling for most of the opening stretch, Joey Logano has been able to turn his season around in the Window World 450. He said after the race:
“It’s good to get back into Victory Lane. It’s been a tough year. So getting the Shell-Pennzoil Mustang doing some big, smoky doughnuts around this place felt really good…. I knew coming into this weekend, we’ve got to capitalize on the points. A win was great, but we really need the points. Really capitalized on those tonight.”
The victory also transformed Joey Logano’s playoff outlook. He climbed from 17th to 15th in the Cup Series standings and moved 49 points above the postseason cut line after maximizing both stage points and the race win.
