Bruce Buffer recently shared his thoughts on Paddy Pimblett and his incredible rise to the top.
Pimblett is among the biggest names in mixed martial arts. The Liverpudlian is widely known for his high-energy walkouts, his unique Scouse accent, and his natural gift of the gab.
Pimblett is coming off a massive first-round submission win over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329 earlier this month. He now has a professional record of 24-4, with 18 of those wins coming via a finish.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Buffer broke down the secret behind Pimblett’s astronomical rise to stardom over the past few years and said:

“It’s not just how you perform in the Octagon. It’s how you perform when you’re interviewed, how you act outside the Octagon, and how you live your life outside the Octagon. Paddy is a very likeable individual. A very likeable figure. A very big fan-favorite, probably one of the top faces of the fighters in the UFC right now… He’s hit the marquee, that’s for sure… He also brings the international audiences.”
When Helwani brought up Pimblett’s iconic walkouts, the veteran UFC announcer added:
“He goes down as one of the best entrances in the history of the UFC.”

After his incredible win over Benoit Saint Denis, Paddy Pimblett made it clear that he’s up to face anyone next and named several UFC heavy-hitters like Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, and Ilia Topuria.
In his post-fight octagon interview, Pimblett called out his next potential opponent and said:
“What now? Am I finished? Who wants it next? I’ll f**king beat Ilia up, I’l f**king rematch Justin, I’ll fight Conor or Max [Holloway] next. I don’t give a f**k. Give me anyone, and I’ll punch their f**king head in.”
