Jon Moxley has drawn attention after reuniting with an ex-WWE star whose non-compete just expired and with a current AEW name. Interestingly, the trio were once part of an infamous stable.
AEW veteran Jon Moxley may be on the precipice of attaining legendary status in pro-wrestling. However, like most men and women aspiring to become a wrestling superstar, the Purveyor of Violence came from humble beginnings, busting his gut in the indie scene. One of the most noteworthy things Moxley was part of during the indies was the stable The Switchblade Conspiracy alongside newly joined AEW name Sami Callihan and the ex-WWE star Joe Gacy. The group was formed in 2009 during the trios era within Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA).
Now, many years later, the trio has reunited, as evidenced by an X post from Sami Callihan featuring a photo of Mox, Gacy and himself.

Ex-WWE star Joe Gacy on reuniting with Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan
Joe Gacy, who was once part of the infamous Wyatt Sicks in the WWE, was unfortunately one of the stars released as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 budget cuts carried out by the Stamford-based promotion. That said, things are now looking up for Gacy as his 90-day non-compete clause has finally ended, which means the star is free to go work for any promotion.
Interestingly, the former WWE Tag Team Champion chose to restart his career at Wrestling Revolver’s Silence of the Lambs event in Nashville. On the show, he defeated Joe Alonzo in singles competition, after which he was spotted with his former Switchblade Conspiracy stablemates Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan. Given his deep connections to Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan, who both work for All Elite Wrestling, it will be interesting to see if that proves to be Gacy’s next major destination after leaving World Wrestling Entertainment.
