Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur have recently celebrated their wedding together.

However, it appears that this will be kept just for personal use for the time being, something that was confirmed by tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg.
This is similar to another WTA player in Elina Svitolina, who is married to Gael Monfils and goes by Elina Monfils on social media, but keeps her maiden name for tournaments.
Boulter’s name was confirmed after the draw was made ahead of her first tournament since Wimbledon at the Washington Open.

Boulter has enjoyed a resurgent 2026 season so far, having won her fourth WTA title in Ostrava, and climbed from world number 120 back into the top 70.
The 29-year-old will hope to keep climbing at the Washington Open, where Boulter has been drawn to face American Ashlyn Krueger in the first round.
Unlike Boulter, Krueger enjoyed a successful Wimbledon, as she came through qualifying to reach the fourth round.
This will be a fourth meeting between Boulter and Krueger, with the latter leading their head-to-head 2-1.
Whoever wins this first round match will certainly have a tricky second round, as they face third seed and four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka.
