If Jimothy didn’t meet your cuteness quota, don’t worry, because another adorable small animal is going viral — this time, a dog called Tilly Bean.
In case you missed it, Jimothy is the “mutant” raccoon that took over the internet after being spotted roaming the streets of Seattle. The critter was born with a short spine, making him smaller than the average raccoon and giving him a hunched appearance.
Since the clips surfaced, fans quickly fell in love with him and social media was flooded with comments about how much they “adore” him.
Now, another animal with a similar condition is taking the internet by storm.
Tilly Bean is a seven-year-old dog who was rescued back in 2019. She was born with “short spin syndrome,” which, as the name suggests, means her body is much shorter than you’d usually expect.
But unlike the raccoon, who was spotted in the wild, Tilly has TikTok and Instagram accounts dedicated to her and her exploits, with over one million followers combined across both.
Some posts show her dressed in adorable outfits, while others document her simply going about her daily life as a “friendly loaf.” The accounts have been around for many years, but since the raccoon became an internet star, even more fans have begun taking notice.
“Jimothy and now a Tilly Bean!?! I can’t handle so much cuteness!” wrote one user on X.
“I want to make sure that all Jimothy fans know about Tilly,” said another.
It remains to be seen if Tilly’s popularity will be as far-reaching as her. He managed to get himself modded into the likes of Stardew Valley and Skyrim, while both D&D and WoW made him an official part of the games.
