Rafael Jodar has continued his phenomenal season at the Canadian Open, where he has stormed into the quarterfinals.
Jodar is the 20th seed at the ATP Masters 1000 event, where he has knocked out Corentin Moutet, Lorenzo Musetti and Jiri Lehecka.
He entered the Canadian Open after a run to the final of the Washington Open, where he was beaten by home favorite Taylor Fritz.
The Spaniard has since returned to winning ways in superb fashion, with his latest helping him follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz.

Jodar now finds himself on an exclusive list, with only three teenagers reaching three or more consecutive ATP Masters 1000 quarterfinals since the format’s introduction in 1990.
That is according to OptaAce, with the 19-year-old Spanish star emulating Nadal and Alcaraz in that regard.
Nadal has, of course, since retired from playing professional tennis, while Alcaraz is currently sidelined with a wrist injury.
Jodar is, therefore, very much the man of the moment for his nation right now, although he now faces a very tricky test against Arthur Fils.

The 22-year-old is the 18th seed at the Canadian Open, where he has beaten Zachary Svajda, Mariano Navone and Cameron Norrie.
Fittingly, he has a 1-1 head-to-head record with Jodar, with both of their previous meetings having arrived this season.
