Today’s the day: Magic: The Gathering is opening the Secret Lair once more, this time for a highly anticipated Hatsune Miku Commander deck drop. Recent developments have ensured that anyone who wants this deck can buy it, thanks to a 24-hour print-on-demand window.
Better still, the Chaos Vault will also open its doors and offer an amazing collection of Hatsune Miku accessories from Ultra Pro. Rumors were swirling that the two had parted ways, with Ultra Pro not offering its usual MTG accessories for some time, but this return puts those to rest for now.
Whether you’re jumping on to try and get a deck ASAP, or are happy to wait for the extended shipping window, here’s everything you need to know about buying the Hatsune Miku Secret Lair deck and accessories.
When And Where You Can Buy The Hatsune Miku Commander Deck
The Hatsune Miku Commander deck will be available on the Secret Lair website from 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT / 6 pm CEST on Monday, August 10, 2026. In a direct response to the scalping and availability issues with the Goblin Storm deck earlier this year, Wizards of the Coast has decided to make this drop print-to-demand for 24 hours.
You will have until 8:59 am PT on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to purchase the deck and secure your stock. However, there is an extremely limited number of decks ready to ship ASAP, and the rest will be fulfilled between May and June 2027, depending on your region.

How To Buy A Secret Lair Product During Launch
Buying anything popular from Secret Lair during a launch is a stressful endeavor, but you can follow some very simple steps to give yourself the best chance of being early for a new drop, which is especially important if you want immediate shipping on this deck.
New Secret Lair products are live from 8 am PT / 11 am ET / 4 pm GMT / 5 pm CEST, and you can enter the site and place what you want in a basket at this time, before then being placed in a waiting room until 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT / 6 pm CEST. You can enter this waiting room at any time up until 8:59 am PT.
You will be given an indication of how long your wait to access the Secret Lair website will be once the randomization is complete.
Everyone in the waiting room is randomized at 9 am PT and then placed in a queue to complete the purchase of whatever is in their basket. You can speed this process up by having payment details ready to go once you are let in.
While Wizards of the Coast never reveals stock numbers, if we assume that the number of ready-to-ship decks matches that of Goblin Storm, then you could be in with a shot if you are able to complete your purchase in the first 30 minutes. So don’t give up if you find yourself not immediately on the site and making a purchase, as only so many customers are allowed through at any one time.
Hatsune Miku Chaos Vault Accessories
Releasing alongside the Commander deck is a set of Hatsune Miku accessories. This sees the return of Ultra Pro to the scene, as they’ve been absent from all the 2026 set releases so far, with GameGenic taking on the job of releasing most set-themed deck sleeves, boxes, and play mats.
The bundle can be purchased from the Chaos Vault, a section within the Secret Lair website. The price is not yet confirmed, but the bundle will come with the following.
- A Play mat
- A magnetic hard-shell deck box
- Printed Apex card sleeves
- Special Hatsune Miku-themed packaging
These accessories are not expected to be limited in any capacity, but shipping dates may vary based on demand.
