The Wizards and number one overall pick A.J. Dybantsa won’t be on national television for any of the NBA’s most traditional viewing windows next season – opening night, Christmas Day, Martin Luther King Day or President’s Day. But Washington will make six appearances on national TV, the most in several seasons. This includes a home matchup at Capital One Arena Nov. 24, on NBC, against the Celtics, as part of the NBA’s Emirates Cup series. Washington will also play Boston in Boston on ESPN Dec. 16.
The Wizards will be on NBC/Peacock for an appearance against LeBron James, Jaylen Brown and the 76ers in Philadelphia on Jan. 12, and a matchup featuring the top two picks in the 2026 draft – Dybantsa and Utah’s Darryn Peterson – in a road game against the Jazz on Feb. 27, on Prime.
The Wizards will also have standalone appearances on Peacock Nov. 9 at Detroit, and March 1 in Phoenix.
Other notable games include Trae Young’s return to Atlanta Nov. 6, and the NBA champion New York Knicks’ appearance in D.C. on Dec. 18.
