Unfinished business gets the Hollywood treatment.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight champion Joshua Van defends his title for the second time in a rematch against former 125-pound kingpin Alexandre Pantoja in UFC 331’s main event on Sat., Sept. 19, 2026, inside Crypto.com Arena—formerly known as Staples Center—in Los Angeles, California.
Today, the promotion released UFC 331’s official marketing poster on social media.
Could the graphic designers make “City of Angels” any harder to decipher? Anyway, cool colors.
Pantoja and Van first collided in UFC 323’s co-main event, but the fight lasted just 26 seconds after then-champion Pantoja dislocated his elbow.
Van became champion in one of the most unfortunate title changes in recent memory.
Since then, Van (17-2) has successfully defended the Flyweight title once, knocking out Tatsuro Taira in the fifth round at UFC 328 (watch highlights).
Pantoja, meanwhile, is fully healthy and finally gets the opportunity to reclaim the championship he never truly lost in a fight.
Tsarukyan (23-3) is now out of the doghouse and will look to finally lock up his Lightweight title shot when he collides with the surging Brazilian highlight reel.
