Controversial Rumble streamer John “Tectone” has claimed that a sponsor, who offered him “a quarter of a million dollars,” threatened him by telling him to “accept transgenderdism, or they would ruin his entire career.” During a recent Just Chatting livestream, Tectone reacted to YouTuber Elephants in Rooms – Ken LaCorte’s video titled What killed the transgender movement.
The former Twitch personality described an incident that occurred between 2021 and 2023, in which “allegations of transphobia” were leveled against him. According to Tectone, a major sponsor informed him that if he did not make “several pro-trans statements,” he would lose his sponsorship.
Describing the situation as being “very uncomfortable,” Tectone said:
“I’ve told this story many times. I had a quarter of a million dollar sponsor that told me if I did not go live with several pro-trans statements, I would lose my sponsorship opportunity after allegations of transphobia were surrounding me. I think this was like… this was back when I was a Genshin content creator. I think. I think it was, like, somewhere between 2021 and 2023 it happened. And, yeah, very uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable!”
The former OTK (One True King) member added:
“They said, ‘Accept transgenderism, or we will ruin your entire career.’ It was awful, bro. It was awful! And that’s why so many people are more comfortable talking about it because now it won’t literally obliterate your life.”
“I think they saved America” – Tectone believes “death of America would have been upon us” if not for Donald Trump and Elon Musk
On August 18, 2026, a 34-second video from Tectone’s Rumble livestream surfaced on X, in which he stated that the “death of America would have been upon us” if Donald Trump and Elon Musk were not in positions of power.
While expressing his belief that the US “needed people as radical as them” in those positions to “stop radicals at our doorsteps,” John remarked:
“I don’t care what you think about Elon Musk. I don’t care how you feel about Donald Trump. Without them being in the positions that they were in, when they were in those positions, I genuinely feel the death of America would have been upon us. I really do. I do! I think they saved America. We needed people as radical as them to be in the positions that they were in in order to stop radicals at our doorsteps. We needed people like them!”
In other news, Tectone recently alleged that VTuber Zentraya is a male, adding that people need to “stop lying” about the supposed situation.
