Olympic gold medalist and former two-division UFC champion, Henry Cejudo, will put retirement on hold for a special Misfits boxing match against social media personality and “Sunshine State” yacht bandit Nurideen Shabazz, better known as “Deen the Great,” as part of the promotion’s upcoming fight card on Sept. 26 at James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.
As for Shabazz, who is not here to cause panic, his last appearance ended in defeat to Amado Vargas at Misfits Mania last December, his first loss inside the boxing ring. Shabazz, 25, held the Misfits lightweight title for more than 800 days before eventually getting stripped in 2024.
No other bouts have been announced for the Sept. 26 fight card; however, you can expect more Misfits matchups to be revealed in the coming days.
