Stefon Diggs didn’t hold back on how he felt about his brother’s next stop. The Washington Commanders receiver reposted news of Trevon Diggs’ signing with the Seattle Seahawks to his Instagram story on Wednesday.
The move closes an eight-month stretch of uncertainty that began when the Dallas Cowboys waived Trevon Diggs in December. The two-time Pro Bowl cornerback signed with a Seahawks franchise now valued at $6.7 billion (according to Forbes). Dallas and Seattle are scheduled to meet in Week 13 on Monday Night Football.

Trevon Diggs framed the move as a chance to prove himself after two injury-shortened seasons.
“I’m looking to show that I’m still the best,” he said Wednesday. “I’m looking to show that I just want to win, be there for my teammates, be a great teammate and be a great player.”
Defensive coordinator Aden Durde coached Trevon with the Cowboys, and he’ll line up alongside former Dallas pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence again. He also reconnects with cornerback Josh Jobe and defensive backs coach Karl Scott from his Alabama days. Trevon said he feels fully healthy for the first time in years after skipping rehab-heavy offseasons to train freely this summer.

A Stefon Diggs-Trevon Diggs reunion that never came together
In May, the brothers’ mother, Stephanie Diggs, publicly lobbied for both sons to sign with Washington, posting a direct appeal to Commanders minority owner Magic Johnson on Instagram.
Stefon signed with the Commanders as a free agent this offseason, while Trevon instead joined a rival team in the NFC.
Meanwhile, Commanders offensive lineman Sam Cosmi said Wednesday that Stefon Diggs “has a presence coming in immediately” and keeps teammates fighting through late-game fatigue.
The Commanders close out their preseason on Saturday against Detroit, with Diggs expected to keep building chemistry with quarterback Jayden Daniels.
