But delving into the numbers behind his serve, and there can be no doubt that he is the best there is in that area.

The ATP serving statistics feature six categories; Aces, 1st serve, 1st serve points won, 2nd serve points won, service games won, and break points saved.

And very impressively, the Italian ranks first in four of those six areas, only falling short when it comes to aces and 1st serve.

Even then, Sinner isn’t far off the pace concerning those areas, ranking 10th for aces and 15th for 1st serve in 2026.

It is hugely impressive from the world number one, who unfortunately for his rivals is nearing a return to action.

After just missing the US Open with a knee injury, Sinner plans to return at the China Open in Beijing later this month.

And again very worryingly for his fellow ATP players, the 25-year-old has a remarkable history at the tournament.

He has made three appearances at the ATP 500 tournament, and has reached the final on all three occasions.

Sinner lifted the trophy in 2023 and 2025, either side of losing the 2024 final to his fierce rival Carlos Alcaraz.
