Former UFC champion Brandon Moreno has given his thoughts on the UFC 331 rematch between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja.
At UFC 331, Joshua Van will attempt to prove once and for all that he isn’t a fluke champion. He will go head to head with Alexandre Pantoja, the man who he defeated to win the belt when the former king suffered an injury in the early stages of their contest.

One man who will be watching closely is Brandon Moreno, who will be hoping to earn his way back to a title shot one day, likely against either Joshua Van or Pantoja.
In a recent interview, Moreno made it known that he has a good feeling about Joshua Van’s chances.
Moreno on Joshua Van vs Alexandre Pantoja
“I love the fight,” Moreno said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.” “I think it’s going to be a super good fight. Pantoja was a champion for a reason, but I don’t know, I have this feeling where I think Joshua is going to win. Obviously, you never know, maybe, Pantoja finds a way to win. I mean, he always find a way to get out of trouble and finds the way to get the victory. He gets the takedown and control and everything. So, I don’t know. You never know with those kind of fights, but I have this feeling where Joshua’s winning.”
Moreno also gave his thoughts on the idea that Van is being too cocky ahead of the fight.
“Maybe, but I understand,” Moreno. “He’s young and he’s enjoying life, you know? He’s been doing a lot of good things in a short period of time, so I understand. He’s fun to watch and everything. He’s cool.”
