Fall golf: One of the best times of year to play. Temperatures change, the trees start to turn, and summer habits start to fade as we enjoy the last great stretch of the season, especially in the northern states. We know winter looms, but staying in the moment remains the top focus!
While browsing the PGA Tour Superstore website, I have a few things on my radar as we transition to fall golf.
In the northern ways of golf, these hand warmers are commonplace. If a frost delay is looming, these are always handy. Need your hands to feel a little better and lessen the sting if you hit one a little thin on the range before the round. A trip to the USGA Rule Book, Section 4.3: Just be aware that a hand warmer and a golf ball in the same pocket between the green and the tee. It could bring up a conversation about rules, depending on who is in your group!

All of a sudden, you aren’t finishing your swing on the inward nine and losing some friendly wagers. Keep hydration in mind as we plug away here. Maybe even keep in mind for the habit loop for the 2027 season, too!

The theme of conditions continues but with good reason. It’s not quite jacket or winter-wear weather, but once you get moving on the course, a vest is just right.
