Valve has shipped a new update to Counter-Strike 2, making changes to the Premier map selection process, adding a new 3v3 “Rush” game mode, and implementing several gameplay tweaks.
The most significant among them is the introduction of a silent reload, which can be done by holding your reload key and comes with the cost of a longer reload time.
Unscoping a sniper rifle also no longer makes a sound, and the visual impact of bullet decals and blood has been increased. The pixel gap at Balcony looking into Palace on Mirage has also been fixed alongside a few other map tweaks.
Clan tags have returned, and the crosshair system has been overhauled to include new settings.
