UFC Vegas 121 went down last night (Sat., Sept. 26, 2026) inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw Raul Rosas Jr. defeat Raoni Barcelos in the fifth and final round via knockout, though how it occurred is still a mystery (see it again here). In the co-main event , Ailin Perez defeated Norma Dumont via a questionable unanimous decision, while Luis Hernandez submitted Sedriques Dumas in the very first round (highlights).
Who He Should Face Next: Figueiredo vs. Talbott winner
After securing his sixth straight over the No. 8 ranked fighter in the division, “El Nino Problema” is looking for bigger and better fights. There is not telling where he will land in the rankings come next week, but I am digging a matchup against the winner of the upcoming bout between Deiveson Figueiredo and Payton Talbott, who are set to collide at UFC 332 next month.
Who She Should Face Next: Luana Santos vs. Yana Santos winner
Despite the decision being very questionable, Perez came out the winner against Dumont. That said, she can’t expect to get a title shot after that victory, so she will have to lock down one more win, at least. She should face the winner of the upcoming bout between Luana Santos and Yana Santos, who are set to throw down next month. Luana is ranked No. 3 while Yana sits at No. 6.
Who He Should Face Next: Mickey Gall
Hernandez had himself a great couple of week. After securing a contract via the Contender Series, he was called upon to make his official debut right away against Sedriques Dumas on short notice. He not only managed to pull off a first-round submission win (see it here), but he also locked down a $100,000 post-fight bonus award. As far as what could be next for sophomore effort, why not out him up against Gall? He did, after all, take his place against Dumas after he bowed out, so let’s match him up against a decent name to see how he does.

Who He Should Face Next: Jean Matsumoto
Uulu won The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) contract after he was the recipient of an illegal knee. Nevertheless, a win is a win and he will look to secure his fourth straight win in his next time out. As far as what could be next, a fight against Matsumoto might be in order. Matsumoto has been semi-consistent inside the Octagon, going 2-2 in his last four fights after winning his first two inside the Octagon. That said, his 4-2 record so far is very respectable and is coming off a win over Bekzat Almakhan, so he would be a good challenge for the newest addition to the 135-pound weight class.
Who She Should Face Next: Elise Reed
Tina Black won the TUF women’s Strawweight contract thanks to a TKO win over Melissa Amaya, improving her win streak to four straight. We’re going to give Black the same treatment as Uulu, pairing her up against Reed, a veteran who has seen better days. Reed is currently on a two-fight losing streak and has an overall record of 4-6 inside the Octagon. She was last seen losing to Shanelle Dyer via knockout last month and would be a good challenge for Black in her first UFC fight on her new contract.
