Slaven “AwaykeN” Lyubenov has set a new record for the most kills over a single map played on LAN in Counter-Strike 2.
The 23-year-old Bulgarian scored 62 kills in INFURITY’s 29-31 loss to Inner Circle Academy in the group stage of Urban Riga Open Season 7 taking place in Riga, Latvia.

AwaykeN broke a record that had stood for almost exactly a year, jointly held by Alexander “Altekz” Givskov and Nils “k1to” Gruhne from an AM vs. Nexus match at Digital Crusade DraculaN Season 2, where the duo scored 60 kills apiece.
It is also the joint-third-highest kill record overall in CS2, behind Adrian “xelex” Vincze’s 67 kills and Dmitry “sstiNiX” Khlebnikov’s 63 kills.
