BKFC Belgrade is officially postponed, and the response is far from a standing ovation. BKFC Serbia has announced that the show will move to a date still to be confirmed, with full refunds promised for all purchased tickets. The event had been scheduled for October 17 at Beogradska Arena, with Agi Faulkner facing Dilan Prasovic in a heavyweight championship bout. Aleksandar Konovalov and Eddy Ruiz were booked for the middleweight co-main event on a 12-fight card.
“Belgrade, thank you for your support and understanding. BKFC Serbia has been postponed, with a new date to be announced in due course. All purchased tickets will be fully refunded,” the announcement reads. “We truly appreciate the help and support of everyone involved.” The statement does not explain why the event was postponed. It also gives no replacement date, refund timetable or instructions for ticket holders. That leaves fans with a refund promise and fighters without a confirmed night to compete.
BKFC Belgrade Cancelled as Fighters Vent Over Scrapped Date
Among the reactions supplied for this article, one commenter focused on what athletes had already put into preparing for the show. “It is extremely unprofessional; fighters sacrifice their health and precious time for training, seeing their families very little, and then something like this happens.”
Another commenter blamed ticket sales and marketing, claiming that two front-row seats priced at 90 euros had remained available for two weeks. “Had a feeling this would happen,” the commenter wrote, before telling BKFC to invest in marketing and claiming that few people knew about the event.
Konovalov has also reacted angrily in an Instagram reel supplied for this article. The Serbian fighter had been scheduled to face Ruiz in one of the show’s featured matchup.
The postponement follows anonymous messages alleging trouble with the Belgrade event earlier this week. Those messages included claims about low ticket sales and an internal decision to halt the show.
