AEW star Kamille just responded to a fan after being asked why she’s been inactive as an in-ring competitor. This comes after she’s been inactive not just with the promotion, but from wrestling altogether.
The Brickhouse made a sudden appearance backstage after roughly one and a half years at the Dynasty pay-per-view back in April, attacking Willow Nightingale and setting her sights on the TBS Championship. They got into a brief feud and faced off a week later at Spring BreakThru, but she fell short in taking down the champion.
Since then, Kamille has rarely been spotted in the ring. She recently celebrated her 34th birthday and has received heartfelt messages from many, including AEW. She has taken to Instagram, posting photos of herself and her husband after celebrating her latest life milestone.
A fan commented on her post, greeting her and asking why she hasn’t been wrestling. The AEW star responded and mentioned that this was due to her doing more meaningful things in her life. It seems an in-ring return may not be in the cards anytime soon.

Kamille and her husband became parents a few months ago
Roughly two months ago, Kamille shared good news on social media as she revealed that she and her husband had become foster parents to two wonderful children, a toddler and a newborn. She penned a heartfelt message as she put her trust in God amidst this major change in their lives.
“Matthew 25:40 🙏🏼 Life looks a little different these days! (Cartoon Faces for the kiddos to protect their identities).Tom and I feel so blessed…and stressed 🤣😅… to be able to pour out love and stability for these lil angels. Going from no kids to a toddler & newborn within 2 weeks of each other has been nothing short of an adjustment. So please forgive me if I’m slower at responding to things lol. We knew it would turn our lives upside down but after much prayer we both knew we couldn’t let fear and/or selfishness keep us from being obedient to something God has put on our heart. We choose to walk by faith, pray for guidance to be in His will and let Him handle the rest 🙏🏼 #fosterparents.”
Kamille has been inactive in wrestling as a whole, and seeing as she is focusing her time on her family, she may not return anytime soon. It remains to be seen whether she’ll still stay All-Elite or not, and only time will tell what happens.
