The Philadelphia 76ers are enjoying a strong start the season with their new look roster, with everybody playing their part.
LeBron James could afford to sit out the first night of their back-to-back, leaving his younger teammates to deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Sixers earned a 127-116 win thanks to key contributions from Joel Embiid (28), Jaylen Brown (27) and Tyrese Maxey (26).
This was Jaylen Brown’s biggest contribution yet for the impressive 76ers as he adjusts to his new teammates and scheme.

Brown averaged a career-high 28.7 points points for the Boston Celtics last season, before their strange decision to trade him to Philadelphia.
Teammate Joel Embiid spoke to PHLY Sports after the game and was asked about Jaylen Brown, and what the team want from their new star.
Embiid said: “I mean, we just want him to be himself. Keep repeating it: ‘Just be yourself. We got you.’
“Attack, attack with your head down. That’s what he does. Pass, get your way, finish.”
Embiid also explained that with the Sixers there is less defensive demand on Brown than he had to deal with at the Celtics last year.
“Defensively the load is a little lighter than it was last year in Boston.”
So he wants Brown to become a pest and pick up guys at the opposite end of the floor rather than anchoring their defense.
He said: “Defensively, I know he’s got to be that man that picks up full court opposite guard on the other team. And yeah, that’s what we need from him, and it’s been good so far.”
A HUGE comeback win for the 76ers in the home opener! What did you make of LeBron James’ performance in the win? 👀
LeBron finished the game with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
Brown’s mind has also been on Celtics feud
Jaylen Brown has been active on social media and in interviews continuing his feud with former Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum.
While Tatum played down any ‘beef’ between them, Brown told reporters there is some ‘lamb chops and gravy’, and accused his ex-teammate of having ‘good PR’.
Brown is still amped up by being forced out of Boston, but that can be positive fuel for his spell with the Sixers.
They face another challenge in their next game when they face last season’s East top seed, the Detroit Pistons.
