Christian Pulisic was the star of the show for the USMNT with a goal and an assist in the first half. He put the opening goal on a plate for Sergino Dest and rounded the goalkeeper beautifully to double his side’s advantage just inside the 20-minute mark.
After a tricky season in Milan, Pulisic roared towards the fans after scoring that goal — a sign of just how desperate he is to get back to his best for the World Cup.
An honorable mention for Folarin Balogun who led the line superbly after being introduced from the bench at halftime and was full value for his winning goal.
