Kenny Omega Wants To Face 3-time AEW World Champion Again: “It’s Only A Matter Of Time”

AEW star Kenny Omega has been known as one of the best wrestlers in the world. However, after he was diagnosed with diverticulitis in late 2023, things changed for him. He was out for over a year and had trouble finding his style back. Eventually, after wrestling several bouts, he is once again the Best Bout Machine fans know. He has been wanting to win the AEW World Championship for many months. He even challenged Maxwell at Dynasty in April, but didn’t win the gold.

However, the Cleaner received a major challenge from outside of AEW this Wednesday. Things have been getting interesting as the Forbidden Door pay-per-view is just around the corner. On the latest edition of Dynamite, one of the best technical wrestlers in the industry, NJPW star Jack Sabre Jr., challenged the Best Bout Machine for a blockbuster match at the event. The match was made official immediately. However, he had yet to address the match.

On tonight’s Collision, Kenny Omega appeared on TV for the first time since Double or Nothing, where he and his allies stood tall in a Stadium Stampede match. He defeated Bad Dude Tito tonight at Summer Blockbuster Collision. He then talked about Zack Sabre Jr. and revealed why this match was important. He even hinted at going for MJF’s AEW World Championship after Forbidden Door.

“Zack, you are that key. You are my answer. You are what’s gonna take me to the next level. So Zack, I’ll see you at Forbidden Door. MJF, it’s only a matter of time,” he said.

It seems like the Best Bout Machine is looking to challenge MJF once again. However, before going for the AEW World Championship, Kenny Omega will have to defeat Zack Sabre Jr.
