How To Start And Complete The Wish Upon A Jirachi Event In Pokemon Pokopia

Pokemon Pokopia‘s newest event, Wish Upon A Jirachi, is now live, and through it, players can unlock tons of wishful new furniture for their world as well as invite Jirachi to move in permanently.

The event will begin automatically on June 23, 2026, at 5 a.m. local time and continue through July 8 at 4:59 a.m. local time. Requirements for the event are to have rebuilt the Pokemon Center in the Withered Wasteland and completed all other important quests for the area.

Where To Find Jirachi And Start The Event

As long as you have the Pokemon Center rebuilt, you should see Jirachi floating around outside the Pokemon Center of the Withered Wasteland. If they’re not there, double-check that your game is up-to-date and that your time zone is not set incorrectly.

Speaking of which, you will also need an online connection to start the event, as Nintendo has patched the time-jump loophole that players were using to access event content early by adding this requirement.

If you meet the requirements once the event has already begun, you’ll need to move to a different region or save and quit the game to refresh things and have Jirachi spawn.

When you spot Jirachi, go and speak to them, and they’ll tell you about something called Wish Notes, and more importantly, Sparkling Wish Notes, which you’ll be able to exchange with them inside the Pokemon Center for various starry-themed furniture over the duration of the event.

During this conversation, Jirachi will hand over the recipe for standard Wish Notes, and inform you that to turn them into Sparkling Wish Notes you’ll need to give them to Pokemon before you complete their requests. Once their requests are complete, the Wish Note will be activated and start sparkling before they hand it back over.

With the Sparkling Wish Notes, you can return to Jirachi inside the Pokemon Center and purchase items from the little pop-up shop, some of which you’ll need for Jirachi’s habitat. And that’s pretty much it.

There’s no special task to complete for Jirachi during this event, aside from what was mentioned, since the main purpose of the event is to introduce Jirachi and give you access to the furniture. So, be sure to buy everything while you can, as everything in the shop will be gone once the event concludes.

How To Get Sparkling Wish Notes

As mentioned, you can’t craft Sparkling Wish Notes, but you can craft regular Wish Notes after speaking with Jirachi. The recipe will be listed under the Other tab at the crafting table and requires only Vines as the crafting ingredient. Vines can be collected from the habitats of Grass-type Pokemon or obtained by cutting hanging vines with the Cut ability.

Once you’ve crafted some Wish Notes, keep an eye out for any Pokemon that have a speech bubble over their head that indicates they need help or have a problem. Speak with them to hear their concern, and Ditto will automatically hand over a Wish Note for them to hold. Once you’ve completed the request, return to the Pokemon, and they’ll hand over a Sparkling Wish Note.

Most of the requests will be simple tasks, like adding a piece of furniture to their habitat or cooking them a specific food item, so you should be able to complete several each day. Additionally, don’t forget to check each area for more requests, not just the Withered Wasteland.

How To Build Jirachi’s Habitat

Jirachi’s habitat, which you’ll need to build to invite them to move in permanently after the event concludes, can be built using some of the materials from the shop.

Specifically, you’ll need the following items to make Jirachi’s habitat:

1x Starry Sky Bed
1x Cloud Table
1x Star Closet
1x Jirachi Lamp (This must be powered with electricity to register the habitat)

Once you’ve built the Surrounded By Stars habitat, you’ll need to wait until the event is over to invite Jirachi to move in. Until then, you can find them inside the Pokemon Center running their shop, day or night.

Keep in mind that everything in the shop costs one Sparkling Wish Note, but you’ll receive 10x Star Wall Decorations each time you purchase that specific item. Additionally, these items are not a one-time purchase, so you can buy as many as you’d like until the event ends.
