Weapons are a big part of any Grand Theft Auto game. After all, you can’t kill all those cops and rival gang members with fists alone. The upcoming GTA 6 is sure to include a large collection of weapons for you to have great fun with.
Even though the title hasn’t been released yet, we already know some of the guns that are in the game. They are visible in trailers and screenshots, plus information regarding the Ultimate Edition gives some things away as well. Here are all the weapons revealed so far.
All Weapons Shown In Official Pre-Release Trailers, Screenshots, And The Ultimate Edition
Every weapon we know so far:
-
Girardi ES9
Jason’s signature handgun in the game seems to be the Girardi ES9, as he’s seen holding it in plenty of promotional material. It is clearly inspired by the Beretta 92FS.
-
Klose K-17
You can often see the Klose K-17 pistol being held by Lucia since it’s her preferred handgun. It looks a lot like the Bersa Thunder 380.
-
Colt M911-Like Pistol
There is a pistol that features a few times in trailers and in a screenshot. It looks a bit like the Colt M911 with the word ‘Capo’ written on it.
-
Polymer Pistol
One screenshot shows a polymer pistol on a desk. This one is customized with gold, but the playable characters may have less fancy ones.
-
MP5
In one of the trailers, both protagonists are shown wielding MP5s during a heist. This gun has been seen in other GTA games, typically with the name SMG or MP.
-
Carbine Rifle
GTA games often feature the Carbine assault rifle, and it can also be seen in both a GTA 6 trailer and a screenshot. However, they look a bit different from one another. In the trailer, Raul Bautista is holding what appears to be the Carbine from GTA 5, while the one Jason is holding in a screenshot resembles the one from GTA 4. So, there may be two separate Carbine rifles in the game.
-
Bolt-Action Rifle
There is a screenshot showing two hunters walking in the woods with bolt-action rifles. They have large scopes on them, too.
-
Assault Sniper Rifle
One screenshot shows a man with what seems to be an Assault Sniper leaning on his leg.
-
M1A
One official screenshot sees a mud-covered hunter holding what looks to be a Springfield M1A rifle. He’s next to the guy with the Assault Sniper Rifle.
-
Mustang .357
A revolver with the words ‘Mustang .357’ engraved on it appears in one of the screenshots. It’s being held by a biker who has their arms around another biker.
-
Grenade Launcher
In one trailer, you see a quick shot of Lucia using a grenade launcher on the vehicle chasing after them.
-
Double-Barreled Shotgun (Long Barrel)
There is a screenshot showing a man using a double-barreled shotgun on an alligator. Chinatown Wars also has a double-barreled shotgun, but it’s the sawn-off version. The long-barreled version in GTA 6 is a rare sight in the series.
-
LMG
The second trailer includes a commercial for a gun store. In the ad, the owner of the store picks up an LMG that looks like the Combat MG from GTA 5.
-
Hawk And Little Morgan Revolvers
A pair of powerful his-and-hers revolvers are set to be included in the Ultimate Edition of the game. They have special Vice City designs.
-
Micro SMG
To promote the topical weapon skin that you get in the Vintage Vice City pack, there is an image of the Micro SMG, which is a gun that has featured in several GTA games. While the tropical skin is part of the pack, the Micro SMG is probably available in the standard game.
-
SMG
Like with the Micro SMG, they have used another SMG to show off the tropical pattern that you can unlock in the Vintage Vice City pack. Once again, this gun may be available in the standard version of the game.
There are a few objects seen in the trailers and screenshots that could end up being weapons: a mini golf club, a baseball bat, a hammer, and a pool cue. Outside of the hammer, the other items are being used in a recreational manner in the content, so it’s unclear if they will be weapons.

Games That Moved Their Release Dates Because Of GTA 6
Nobody is saying these games are scared of the behemoth Rockstar is putting out, but we don’t blame these games for basing their launch date on GTA 6.
