On Saturday, Ross will return to host the next boxing event from inside his Brand Risk Warehouse in Miami, Florida. These influencer-led cards aren’t for everyone, but the pre-fight build up typically provides some sort of entertainment. Most of the fighters competing share significant beef online and use Brand Risk as a way to settle the score.
While this weekend’s card features a collection of seething rivalries there was one matchup that brought more steam than any other during Friday’s press conference. It’s the upcoming fight between Julian Newman and fellow welterweight Thiirty. Neither fighter possesses real combat experience, but that didn’t stop them from mixing it up before the fight.
Apparently things took a turn for the worse when Thiirty stepped on stage for a faceoff and the two started trash talking. One thing led to another and Newman ended up throwing a punch that connected clean. This came after Ross warned both fighters that a pre-fight strike would result in a fine.
Well, Newman didn’t care. His on-stage punch ended up costing him $30,000 when it was all said and done. Check it out below:
