Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese’s boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., recently attended the Dream vs. Chicago Sky game on Saturday. Their adorable courtside moment is now viral online.

The Dream secured a comfortable 106-81 victory over the Sky. After the game, Prime Video Sports posted a clip of the couple’s brief courtside moment to Instagram, where the Orlando Magic center could be seen playfully giving a “little head bop” to Reese. Seeing their interaction, one fan critically claimed:

“Wendell Carter Jr. not hitting that right.”

The three-time WNBA All-Star took notice of the comment and replied: “TUH.”

They first sparked dating rumors back in May 2025 at her 23rd birthday party, before Carter officially confirmed the relationship in November 2025. Reese has said little publicly about the relationship.

She told former First Lady Michelle Obama on the IMO podcast in April that she looks for a partner who “doesn’t care about all the extra stuff.”

Beyond the internet drama, Reese became the first player in WNBA history to record 500 rebounds in a single season while extending her single-season double-double record to 31, fueling her Defensive Player of the Year campaign.

Why Angel Reese will miss top 3 in WNBA DPOY race

WNBA analyst Trysta Krick believes Angel Reese won’t finish top 3 in DPOY race. Speaking on her podcast “Let Her Shoot” with Daily W co-founder Sarah Chovnick, she said:

“You look at her on-off splits, that’s what they call them for her defensive rating. She is top five in the league in terms of impact in that way. We know that she rebounds like a beast. We know that Atlanta is a much better team defensively when she’s on the floor than when she was prior to being traded there. So to me, I don’t think she’s even going to get top three in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation. But the only reason why is because the conversation started too late in the season. I think it’s one of those categories people don’t even debate much.”

This dominant defensive impact matches her elite production on the year, as Reese is currently averaging 16.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for the 2026 regular season.
