AEW will hold Grand Slam France on October 6, 2026, at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France. Only two matches have been announced for the show so far, and hopefully Tony Khan will announce more bouts this week.

Here is Grand Slam France’s lineup so far:

  • Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne
  • Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada – World Championship match

Grand Slam France could potentially be an extraordinary show. Interestingly, many believe that one or more former WWE stars could make their All Elite Wrestling debut at the upcoming TV special.

Here are four former WWE stars who may show up at Grand Slam France.

#4. Kairi Sane

Kairi Sane had a great WWE run. She held numerous titles, like the NXT Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. She is an excellent in-ring competitor, and rumors suggest that she is AEW-bound.

The Japanese star could make her All Elite Wrestling debut at Grand Slam France. She will certainly recieve a thunderous reaction from people in attendance because she has a strong worldwide fanbase. Interestingly, former AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla teased her arrival in a recent interview with TV Insider.

Thekla said that she will only believe the rumors if she sees Kairi with her own eyes.

“I always like new faces coming in. I still consider myself a new face somehow. It has only been a little bit over a year for me. I’m a huge fan of people just going from one territory to the other, like in the old days. I’m very excited to see who’s gonna step up, you know? Kairi has been the talk of the town. I’m only going to believe it once I see it. For the fans, it’s always cool to see a new matchup. We’ll see. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Let us see if we can pice it up a little bit.” she said.

Kairi’s addition to the All Elite Wrestling roster will make the already strong women’s division even stronger.

#3. Sheamus

Sheamus is a WWE legend. He left the Stamford-based company a few months ago and recently became a free agent. He is a dominant in-ring competitor, and he will seemingly join All Elite Wrestling soon.

Reports suggest that Tony Khan is interested in signing the Celtic Warrior. The 48-year-old is a dominant in-ring competitor and a former three-time WWE Champion. His addition to the Jacksonville-based company’s roster will be a monumental business decision.

Sheamus is a free agent; hence, there is a strong possibility that he could make his AEW debut at Grand Slam France. The world of professional wrestling will go berserk if this happens.

#2. Ilja Dragunov is worthy of becoming AEW World Champion

Wrestling fans are no stranger to Ilja Dragunov’s brilliance. The Mad Dragon left WWE earlier this year and is AEW-bound. However, it is not known how and when he will make his debut in the Stamford-based company.

Many AEW stars are anticipating the former United States Champion’s arrival, including the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher. In a recent interview with the Daily Star, the Protostar recalled the last time they met in the ring and added that he wants to see Dragunov in the Tony Khan-led promotion.

“The one on the top of everyone’s list at the moment is Ilja (Dragunov). He’s possibly a free agent, as we’ve all heard. He’s someone that I wrestled in PROGRESS over here in the UK before. So for me personally and selfishly, I would very much love to see him in AEW. I think that would be awesome, and I look forward to seeing what a 2026 match with Ilja Dragunov looks like. I think that would be very exciting,” Fletcher said.

Dragunov will receive a loud response if he shows up at Grand Slam France. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

#1. Steve Maclin

In a recent appearance on TSN Sports, Steve Maclin openly said that he would love to join Ring of Honor or AEW. The former WWE star is married to the reigning ROH Women’s Pure Champion, Deonna Purrazzo

“I’m always interested in that end of the world with AEW, especially with my wife there. But then a lot of my friends are also there, my best friend, Josh Alexander. You got the Rascalz there now, too. There’s dream matchups for me, as well. I would love the opportunity to go out there on AEW Dynamite, Collision, Ring of Honor.” he said.

Maclin is a talented wrestler and a former TNA World Champion. He is currently 39 and seemingly has a bright future. Tony Khan could sign him and make him an important part of his company. Furthermore, some fans believe that he might make his AEW debut at Grand Slam France.
