Thursday at 18:45 CEST vs Pavlovic & Co
This Thursday 15 October AC Milan, giants of European football, are at our stadium. Kick-off against the legendary club from Lombardy is at 18:45 CEST!
Our start to the Europa League’s league phase in mid-September went entirely to plan with a 1–0 win at Levski Sofia – something our visitors cannot say for themselves. The Rossoneri lost their opener 0–2 at home to Benfica and are now all the more hungry to pick up points away from home. Ruben Amorim’s team remain unbeaten in Serie A, although three draws in six matches mean they sit in fifth place. Like us, they also managed only a draw last weekend upon returning from the international break.
A draw was also the outcome of our last meeting with the Milan side in Salzburg in autumn 2022. Thanks to a spectacular goal from Noah Okafor, we secured a point that few had expected. We aim to put in a similarly spirited and, above all, courageous performance this time around against European heavyweights with your support from the stands.

The match also sees a reunion with Strahinja Pavlovic. The Serbian center-back played for us from 2022 to 2024 and was on our side during that last clash with Milan. Now, however, he will line up against us as part of a star-studded squad featuring Luka Modric and others.
Thursday’s match will be broadcast exclusively on the subscription streaming service Canal+ in Austria. Of course, the best way to experience this special game against AC Milan is at the stadium. Individual tickets are still available for general sale, as are 4-match packages covering all four UEL home games at the best price:

We are really looking forward to this Europa League night at our stadium. AC Milan are a big name in European football and have immense quality. This will be another tough challenge for us, and we will prepare for it in the best possible way. We want to make life as difficult as possible for AC Milan and show during the match that we are a good team – after all, these are the kinds of games you work for. It will also be a match where we take on a different role than is usually the case in the Bundesliga. We are playing at home and want to try to thrill the crowd with our style of football

Milan are obviously special opponents, but we are heading into this home game with great anticipation and confidence. We know we have to stay focused throughout every phase of the game against a team like that. At the same time, we want to show our strengths, defend determinedly, and play with pace going forward.
