Lord is a new limited-time Mythic-tier unit in Anime Vanguards that was introduced via Update 13.5 on June 21, 2026. Its in-game appearance is inspired by an anime character called King, featured in The Seven Deadly Sins series.
To unlock the Lord unit, you must participate in the Summer Event limited-time mode, progress to its Zone 2, and interact with the Lord NPC to purchase the Fairy King’s Trial Portal. Upon each purchase, there’s a one in 30 chance of obtaining the Fairy King’s Secret Tier Portal. By clearing this secret-tier portal, you’ll get the unit.
Once obtained, you can evolve this unit to its Fairy form by using Sunshine, Haunted Helmet, several Essence Stones, and 15,000 Gold.

Passive abilities
- Statue Maker: Attacks inflict Stone for 2 seconds. Stone Stuns enemies for the duration. While an enemy is Stoned, the next attack that hits it ends the Stun early and deals 50% more damage. If Stone ends early, buff this unit’s damage by 50% for 30 seconds.
- Sloth: Inflicting Stone on an enemy debuffs this unit’s SPA by 30% for 15 seconds. While this unit’s SPA is debuffed, buff this unit’s damage by 100% and attacks inflict 50% Slow for 10 seconds.
How to get and evolve Lord in Anime Vanguards
Step 1: Unlock the unit
To unlock the Lord unit in Anime Vanguards, you must follow these steps:
- Participate in Summer Event LTM: At the center of the game’s lobby, you’ll find Today’s Strongest vs History’s Strongest NPC. Interact with them and join a solo or create a run.
- Unlock Zone 2: After spawning into the map, clear several waves and collect 40,000 Yen to unlock Zone 2. Around this new zone, you’ll find the Lord NPC offering to purchase the Fairy King’s Trial Portal.
- Clear Fairy King’s Secret Tier Portal: Upon entering each Fairy King’s Trial Portal, there’s a one in 30 chance that it turns into the secret tier portal. You’ll unlock the unit after clearing this portal.
Step 2: Evolve the unit
After unlocking the Lord unit, you can evolve it to its Lord (Fairy) form by visiting the Upgrade area and spending these items:
- 1x Sunshine (can be purchased from Legacy Event Shop for a Shamrock)
- 1x Haunted Helmet (there’s a 5% chance of obtaining it from the Summer Capsules)
- 30x Green Essence
- 30x Yellow Essence
- 20x Blue Essence
- 1x Rainbow Essence
