BC Game has announced that the upcoming BC Game Masters tournaments, which include BC Game Masters Female, will be put on hold “following discussions with our partner and is not related to the operation, finances, delivery, or competitive integrity of the events themselves.”
Two BC Game LANs took place recently, the inaugural Masters Championship LAN in Bucharest, Romania, in March, followed by the Masters Championship Season 2 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, with $50,000 in prizes at each event.
The tournament organizer clarified in a further post that all prize money from completed BC Game Masters tournaments will be paid out.
The first season of Female Masters, an online event in Europe, was set to take place from June 27 to July 26 with $25,000 on the line.
