BLAST have announced the 12 teams directly invited to their upcoming Open Porto event, set to begin on August 24.
All teams have accepted their invitations, meaning the top 12 VRS-ranked teams at the time of the July 6 cutoff will make the trip to Copenhagen for the event’s group stage.
Vitality, the winners of the last BLAST Open Rotterdam, will aim to return to winning ways at the event, while Cologne Major winners Falcons, Spirit, and Natus Vincere are also among the favorites for the title.
The 12 squads join the four qualified teams, namely Lynn Vision, M80, Sharks, and Inner Circle, who secured their spots by winning the regional qualifiers.

BLAST Open Porto will start on August 24 with the group stage in BLAST’s studios in Copenhagen, before the top six teams make the flight to the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota in Porto from September 4-6.
