Derek Chisora says he is not retiring and will fight again in December.
The 42-year-old Briton lost to Deontay Wilder in April in what was billed as his 50th and final fight.
However, Chisora has since refused to confirm his retirement. Speaking at a news conference on Tuesday, said he believed he would fight in December against Murat Gassiev.

“December will be me versus Gassiev,” Chisora said.
“We’re going to decide where, either in London or Manchester. We’re going to put two belts on the line, I believe, the IBA and the one Gassiev holds.
“What people have to understand is that what the IBA does is unbelievable. I believe this goes deeper than that we’re doing here right now.
“I believe it’s going to get better and better. In December we’ll be fighting.”
Gassiev is currently the WBA ‘super’ heavyweight world champion, but his status is unclear after reports claimed Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua would be fighting for his world title in their contest on 11 December.

The Russian said on Tuesday he was unsure if he remained the WBA’s world champion.
Chisora’s news conference was hosted by the IBA, the body that was stripped of its status as amateur boxing’s governing body by the International Olympic Committee in 2023 and has since been staging professional bouts.
Gassiev’s recent bouts have been under the IBA’s banner and he was upgraded to the WBA’s ‘super’ champion in June after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished the belt.
Several of Chisora’s recent bouts have been billed as farewell fights and there have been repeated calls from people within the boxing community for the veteran to retire because of his age.

Chisora has 36 wins in 50 fights and defended his decision to continue fighting.
“I never said I was retired. They (the organisers) said ’50 last dance’,” he said.
“This is why you’ve got [films like] Rush Hour 1, Rush Hour 2, Coming to America 1, coming to America 2. You understand?
“So this is the Last Dance 3. Listen, trust me, I’m a seller, I sell. That’s my job.”
