Tanner Kern, a content creator at DraftKings Inc who says he is “building Green 80 Sports from the ground up,” shared his opinion about Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s alleged relationship.
Speaking on his platform via X on Thursday, Kern said he found it surprising that both families appeared to have resumed public life so quickly after Page Six published intimate photos of Russini and Vrabel on April 7.

“You can’t tell me, at this point, that Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s significant others did not know they were seeing somebody else for at least a period of time,” he said. “It’s reported that the two were together for up to 10 years, having this cheating scandal going on for 10 years.”

Kern first brought up Vrabel and his wife, Jennifer’s apperance at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

“Let’s go to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding,” he said. “Mike Vrabel was there with his wife. They were walking into an SUV. Vrabel was walking ahead of her. He wasn’t lovey-dovey by any means, but they were there together at the wedding. I think if his wife did not have plans to stay with Mike Vrabel, or there wasn’t some sort of arrangement, she wouldn’t have been at a massive public wedding in Madison Square Garden — unless she’s a massive Taylor Swift fan, which is also possible.”
His comments followed Russini’s appearance aboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas over the July 4 weekend with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, and their two young sons. The trip marked one of her first public family appearances since she resigned from The Athletic on April 14.
“There were people who believed Dianna Russini’s husband was the one who hired the private investigator (to spy on Vrabel and Russini),” Kern said. “If he did hire the private investigator, and he’s this big-time executive at Shake Shack, he should be dumping her (expletive), man, if he didn’t know.”
Kern added:
“I think that Mike Vrabel was potentially in an open marriage, and I think Dianna Russini was 100% in an open marriage because they’re back together. Everyone’s back together like nothing even happened.”
After Page Six published Vrabel and Russini’s intimate photos on April 7 at a resort in Sedona, Arizona, both denied any wrongdoing.
On April 10, The New York Times reported that The Athletic had launched an internal review into Russini’s conduct. Four days later, Russini resigned from the publication.
On April 23, additional photos of Vrabel and Russini from Tribeca Tavern in New York City were published. The images showed them intimately talking at the bar, with one photograph showing them kissing. This photos dates back to March 2020, six months before Russini married her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt.
In June 2021, TMZ published a video from June 2021 featuring Russini and Vrabel. Back then, Vrabel was head coach of the Tennessee Titans and Russini was working for ESPN. The two rented a private boat in Putnam County, Tennessee. Dianna Russini was approximately seven months pregnant with her first son at the time.
