Dominik Mysterio has been a regularly featured star on WWE television. He is the current AAA Mega World Champion. Despite being the top champion in AAA, Mysterio has not seen a lot of success in singles competition in the past few months. For four months, the self-proclaimed King of Luchadors has not been able to pick up a singles victory. The four-month losing streak finally came to an end at tonight’s Sunday Night Main Event.
Tonight on the kickoff show of Sunday Night’s Main Event, ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio wrestled former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Throughout the match, the entire Judgment Day was at ringside, and whenever Hendry looked to gain momentum, the faction created some distraction and helped Mysterio recover. Finally, Dirty Dominik Mysterio hit the 619 and followed it with a Frog Splash to pick up the win.
Thanks for the submission!
The rivalry between the Prestigious One and the King of Luchadors has been going on for several weeks. The last time the two squared off in singles competition was on a July episode of Monday Night RAW, where Hendry managed to pick up the win via pinfall but this time, the result was different.
Now, with Hendry in the back of their mind, the focus for Judgment shifts to Monday Night RAW, where Liv Morgan defends her title against Stephanie Vaquer.
