Emma Raducanu has experienced a roller-coaster career at the age of 23, with another Wimbledon venture now on her agenda.

Raducanu enters the prestigious tournament ranked 32nd in the world, having once climbed as high as number 10.

But injuries and coaching changes have really upset her rhythm, although she is now back working with Andrew Richardson.

Tim Henman hopes Richardson has time with Raducanu, with the pair having worked together when she won the US Open in 2021.

It remains the only WTA title won by the Briton, who has now suggested when she will hang up her racket.

Raducanu has spoken to Grazia just ahead of Wimbledon, and she was asked where she hopes to be in 10 years’ time.

“I’ll probably be retiring and hopefully proud of the career I’ve had in tennis, but also extremely excited for another career,” she replied.

“I know tennis is one chapter of my life, and it’s such a huge part of my current identity, but I have a lot more than just tennis ahead of me.

“I can’t wait to delve into another chapter, and to think that my life really starts in my thirties is exciting, even though I will have had a whole tennis career by then.”

Raducanu has been busy both on and off the court of late, with plenty more to achieve before she does indeed call time on her career.

At this stage of proceedings, the British women’s number one has a 158/94 win-loss record, and has earned over $6million in prize money.

Emma Raducanu continues roller-coaster career

Raducanu has continued her roller-coaster career into 2026, where she has claimed 11 wins and 10 losses.

The Briton has been forced to skip several events, while she parted ways with coach Francis Roig after the Australian Open.

But she has managed to find great form at an ideal time for Wimbledon, making it all the way to the final of Queen’s.

Raducanu was beaten by Donna Vekic, but it should hopefully represent a very significant step forward for her, both in the short-term and long-term.
