The Swede departs the organization after over two years of service.
EYEBALLERS have announced the benching of Sebastian “dex” Samuelsson, ending a partnership that lasted for 26 months.
“It is absolutely not a fun decision and is no reflection of his individual performance, but we felt that something needed to happen for us to be able to take the next step in our journey,” EYEBALLERS’ CEO Axel Fridén said in a statement.
The organization also revealed that they will use stand-ins for their upcoming matches, the first of which being Anton “dottie” Alevärn, while they work on a permanent solution.
dex joined the team in October 2024 and played a total of 546 maps with the squad, but has now been removed after EYEBALLERS’ failed Singapore Major bid.
The team hit a bad run of form ahead of the cutoff and currently sport a 38.9% win rate in the last three months, dropping to No. 64 in the VRS.
EYEBALLERS are now:
Jesper “JW” Wecksell
Kalle “Ro1f” Johansson
Max “maxster” Jansson
Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
Faruk “pita” Pita (coach)
