Twistzz put up a magnificent 2.28-rated performance on Mirage
FaZe continue to enjoy a strong start to life since adding Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen, cruising into the Esports World Cup playoffs via victories on Cache (13-6) and Mirage (13-8) over Brazilian side Legacy.
FaZe kicked things off with a thoroughly convincing performance on Cache, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken’s excellent calling driven forwards by the powerful fragging of his team, granting them a straightforward 13-6 win.
Twistzz rescues the round after Legacy can’t figure out where he is
Legacy put up a better fight on Mirage, posting strong starts to each half, but they were met by a stellar performance by Twistzz. The Canadian found multiple multi-frags to rescue rounds in a tight first half, before calling a clinical offense to ensure smooth sailing all the way to the playoffs.
After back-to-back top-four finishes at XSE Pro League and BLAST Bounty S2, FaZe have now added another playoff berth to their recent resume.
In series play FaZe have only lost to PARIVISION and Spirit thus far this season, and will fancy themselves to continue their deep run in Paris if their individuals keep performing and Twistzz keeps calling up a storm.
